(KSL News) -- Smoke forced American Fork High School to evacuate students from classrooms this morning.
Utah County firefighters say a belt in the school's heating system broke around 7:30 this morning. Smoke from the damaged belt crept into the band room and set off fire alarms.
The school was evacuated. After fire crews decided the problem wasn't dangerous, students returned to class.
