(KSL News) An Ogden couple was honored and surprised this morning for their wonderful example of love and devotion.
Zelda and Gilbert Taylor have been married for 70 incredible years. Their family, which is almost 90 strong, wanted them to know their example hasn't gone unnoticed.
Kevin Bailey nominated his in-laws for a High 5.
"They've been a great example to our family. They've not just been married for 70 years; they've been happily married for 70 years. They never seem to argue, not that they don't disagree. They're just a wonderful example of love and compassion," he said.
Gilbert was surprised when our Coco Warner showed up to give them a High 5. "My gosh, this is really something. I can't imagine doing this," he said.
Coco asked Zelda about the secret for being happily married for that long.
"Loving one another," she said. "And being considerate of the other."
