(KSL News) - A massive crash in Sandy this afternoon forced police to shut down a major roadway.
Officers say the driver of the white compact car veered oncoming traffic and slammed into the silver pick-up truck.
9000 South has been shut down in both directions between I-15 and 700 West, and emergency vehicles are on the scene.
The teenage driver of the white car was flown to the hospital in serious condition. No one else was injured.
