(KSL News) -- President Gordon B. Hinckley of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is still in the hospital, but he's recovering on schedule.
His doctors say they are pleased with his progress. Church spokesman Dale Bills said that they do not expect any further developments through the weekend. President Hinckley is still resting comfortably at LDS Hospital and the get well wishes continue to come into church headquarters from around the world.
As we have reported, after a routine screening, doctors discovered a cancerous growth in President Hinckley's large intestine earlier this week. They removed a portion of that intestine during laproscopic surgery.
