I saw a little bit of Meredith Viera's interview with J.K. Rowling last night on KSL 5. Wow. All of that talent and she's so likeable too.
I am on page 520 of the latest Harry Potter. It's brilliant. Just brilliant. She is a staggeringly good storyteller. This is a novel that would pull any age reader from chapter to chapter. It's just masterful.
Somebody said to me the other day, "Wow - what a bummer that your book is coming out right at the same time as Harry Potter." I said, "What? Are you nuts? It's a stroke of luck beyond my wildest dreams to have my little book coming out at the same time as Harry Potter. More people will be in book stores buying the latest Potter book than visit book stores in a year, and they might just happen to see my book and pick it up. What a stroke of luck!"
I know. Wishful thinking.
Gotta go. Back to the Deathly Hallows. Nobody big has died yet and I know something big is coming.
