(KSL News) -- Third District Congressman Chris Cannon announced today he is running for re-election.
Cannon, who was first elected in 1996, will be seeking a fifth term in Congress. This time, Cannon will face a challenge from within his own party. Republican John Jacob has also filed for the seat.
Cannon defeated Democrat Beau Babka, in 2004.
