(KSL News) -- Lincoln Elementary students learned a new lesson today, with the help of a very special visitor. The Jazz bear joined students from Salt Lake Community College for a special assembly.
Today's program taught students about the dangers of drugs, and positive influences in their lives.
Thomas Wennergren: "To become better, they don't need things to be better, they can be themselves, be their own greatest heroes."
The SLCC students present the program to about 30-thousand kids each year. The name of the program is "Know Great Heroes." It involves baseball, volleyball and basketball athletes, and reminds kids to chose sports instead of drugs.
