Correction: Over the weekend Eyewitness News mistakenly reported that the exotic pet hospital in Draper will deal exclusively with exotic pets. While veterinarians there are trained as specialistin the care of rare and exotic species - the hospital offers serves for ALL pets, including dogs and cats.
(KSL News) -- The demand for pet medicine took another leap forward today.
Draper officials and other dignitaries cut the ribbon on a new 2-million dollar exotic pet hospital.
While veterinarians here are trained as specialistin the care of rare and exotic species - the hospital offers serves for ALL pets, including dogs and cats.
The demand is here because more and more pet owners are spending big bucks on rare and exotic animals, some of which have fairly long lifespans.
And, like the owners of dogs and cats, these folks also will do whatever is necessary to keep their pets healthy.
