(KSL News) -- A Springville man who faced a number of sex charges in Utah County had one of the cases against him dismissed today.
A judge in Fourth District Court dismissed two counts of forcible sex abuse, which were filed against Kent Parkinson. The Utah County Attorney's Office says the charges were dismissed in the "interest of justice."
Parkinson still faces 10 counts of rape and five additional counts of forcible sex abuse.
Prosecutors say Parkinson met women on the internet, and then assaulted the women when they met in person.
