(KSL News) -- A group representing developers presented a check today to help maintain wetlands by the Great Salt Lake.
Diversified Habitats donated 37-thousand dollars to the The Nature Conservancy for its Great Salt lake Shorelands Preserve in Syracuse.
The developers previously donated 104 acres to expand the Preserve that offers a protected habitat to wildlife.
Diversified Habitats provides replacement wetland to mitigate loss of other wetlands to development.
