(KSL News) -- That expensive digital camera in your bag could have a defective chip.
Seven major digital camera makers are using a bad chip that could fail in hot, humid conditions.
The cameras would produce black and white or distorted color images.
Nikon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Sony, Canon, Fuji and Olympus have used the chip in various cameras.
Many companies will fix the camera if it fails, but none have issued a recall.
