KAYSVILLE -- SWAT teams surrounded a house in Kaysville Tuesday night after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance.

Police say a woman is barricaded inside a house at 47 S. Bonneville Lane. She works for the military, officers say, and recently received some sort of disciplinary action at work. She is now believed to be armed with a weapon and threatening to kill herself.

Though police don't believe the woman intends to harm anyone else, a couple of nearby homes have been evacuated as a precautionary measure.

Negotiators from the Davis County Sheriff's Office are working to make contact with the woman.

KSL News has a crew on scene and will post updates as they become available.
