(KSL News) A huge hay fire is burning itself out this morning in Dayton, Idaho. That's about a half hour north of the Utah-Idaho border.
The fire started about 4 pm Sunday afternoon at the Oxford Mountain Dairy. Fire crews don't know how it started, but a witnesses says some two-thousand tons of hay is burning, and flames are shooting up 30 feet.
Crews fought the flames, keeping them from jumping to other stacks of hay and surrounding buildings. They contained the fire early this morning, just after 1:00. They're now just letting it burn.
