ANTELOPE ISLAND, Utah (AP) -- A Utah park official says 2010 was a record-breaking year for Antelope Island State Park.
The Standard-Examiner of Ogden reports that park manager Ron Taylor says year-end revenue data shows a bump in the number of visitors increased park revenue by more than $37,000.
Data shows the park increased its number of visitors in 2010 by more than 11,800 people. In all more than 285,400 people visited the park last year. Total revenues were at an all-time high of nearly $812,000.
Taylor says it's the second consecutive year of gains for the park.
Despite the increases, Taylor says the park still operates at a slight deficit.
A recent state audit identified Antelope Island as the second-biggest tourist attraction in Davis County. Only the amusement park Lagoon had more visitors.
