(KSL News) -- A new study shows you are more likely to get sunburned skiing in the Rocky Mountains than sunbathing in Florida.

Researchers at Ohio State University say reflection off of snow and exposure at high elevations increases the risk for sunburn during winter.

They say the sun can be very powerful and people need to wear sunscreen, no matter how cold it is outside.
