(KSL News) -- The Humane Society of Utah has launched a billboard campaign to gather support for an anti-animal abuse bill in the upcoming Legislature.
The bill aims to make animal torture a third-degree felony. The billboard links torturing animals to one one of America's most infamous serial killers, Ted Bundy.
Utah has had several horrifying animal cruelty cases in recent years, including setting dogs on fire, shooting pregnant cows and dismembering kittens.
