(KSL News) -- The body of a homeless man was found behind a downtown building last night.
Police have identified the man as 53-year-old Gary Gerber. Officers do not know how he died, but say there were no signs of foul play.
Gerber has a history of alcohol-related arrests. He was found laying on the ground near a ventilation pipe behind a construction building at 4th South and 4th West.
A transient friend of Gerber's found him and called police.
