(KSL News) A serious accident on Bangerter Highway injured six people.
Three vehicles were involved. Apparently one car was heading south when it crossed the median and hit two oncoming cars.
Battalion Chief Bob Fitzgerald/ West Valley City Fire Dept.: "We're pretty fortunate. This time of day, the speeds people get up to on this stretch of the highway here, the type of accident-- we're fortunate no one was killed."
"It's always tricky to get someone out of a vehicle like that. We use multiple tools just to get the vehicle away from the patient."
Three people were taken to Pioneer Hospital, one was flown to LDS Hospital and one to the U of U Hospital.
