(KSL News) Cottonwood Heights' top officer is on administrative leave, but no one's saying why.
The Deseret Morning News reports Lieutenant Robbie Russo was ordered off the job immediately, pending an investigation. Mayor Kelvyn Cullimore says he only knows the suspension has to do with a policy issue within the department. Sheriff Jim Winder only says it's a personnel matter.
Russo has run the Cottonwood Heights precinct for two and a half years and has spent more than two decades with the sheriff's office.
