WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) -- The man accused in a deadly altercation on Christmas Eve has been charged.
Yesterday, 19-year-old Anthony Jole Alires was charged with first-degree criminal homicide.
Authorities say Alires turned himself two days after he was named a suspect in the December 24th death of 28-year-old David Pentelakis.
Court documents say witnesses reported seeing Alires shoot Pentelakis in the head and then run away.
An autopsy report shows Pentelakis died from a single gunshot wound to the head.
He's currently being held in the Salt Lake County Jail on 500-thousand dollars cash-only bail.
