(KSL News) -- We have showed you what our news staff voted the Top-10 news stories of 2005. Tonight we reveal the stories you think are at the top of the list. And our staff and our audience are not that far apart. We agreed on eight of the top 10.
Nearly 2,000 people voted on ksl.com. The audience top ten include the story about four young people who died in a caving accident in Utah County, which did not make our list. You also voted for the court decision that essentially ended the dispute over the sale of the Main Street Plaza to the LDS Church.
While the news staff's top story, was about the flooding in Southern Utah, the audience picked the deaths of eight people from Utah State University when their van rolled over on I-15.
Thanks to all of you who took the time, to share your opinion.
