(KSL News) There are some changes ahead for the Salt Lake County Sheriff's office.
Sheriff Aaron Kennard has overseen 350 deputies for the past 16 years.
But this year, five towns in Salt Lake County are breaking from the Sheriff's office and creating their own Unified Police Department-- which means Kennard will lose most of his deputies to the new department.
