WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) -- A man accused of stealing OxyContin last month from a West Valley City pharmacy has been charged.

Police say two bottles of the pain medication, containing a total of 146 pills, were found missing from the pharmacy. Officers say a security videotape recorded the man taking the bottles from the shelf and leaving the store.

Yesterday, the 42-year-old man was charged in court with one count of theft and one count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, both third-degree felonies.
