PARK CITY -- The Utah Highway Patrol has released the names of two men killed Saturday night in a head-on crash five miles east of Park City.

A release by troopers said Rick Ryan Hill, 35, of Orem, was driving a pickup truck east on state Route 248 when the vehicle crossed over into the westbound lanes and hit a compact car.

Hill, and the driver of the car, Jose Pineda, 23, Kamas, were killed.

A third vehicle was sideswiped by the pickup truck, sending its driver, Johnny Morales, 26, to the University of Utah Medical Center with serious injuries.

The release said alcohol was a factor in the crash.
