SALT LAKE CITY -- A worker at the Walmart store on 300 West at 1300 South made an unusual discovery Tuesday afternoon.
The employee was doing inventory in the men's clothing department when she came across a stash of drugs.
"She discovered, in the pocket of a plaid jacket, some cocaine balloons and some heroine balloons," said Salt Lake City Police Detective Lisa Pascado.
There were five bags of the balloons in the pocket, but Pascado said she doesn't know how many balloons were found, or what the drugs are worth. But was someone trying to make a drug deal?
"You know, we're not sure," Pascado said. "We've not had any experience with someone doing this to us before. So it was a surprise to us as well."
Police are still checking to see if there's surveillance video that might show who made the drop.
