Andrew Adams, KSL Newsradio Turns out there's a bit of a flap between the Salt Lake City prosecutor and the district attorney over who is screening a porn case involving a Salt Lake police officer.

Tom Gallegos is accused of e-mailing porn with a work account to a sergeant. City Prosecutor Sim Gill says his office can't screen the case because of a conflict of interest. He tried to pass it off to District Attorney Lohra Miller. She says it's too political.

Gill says, "Public prosecutors have a moral and ethical responsibility to carry their charge and objectively screen matters and not simply shy away from them because they may be too hot to handle."

Utah's attorney general now says he's going to screen the case.
