(KSL News) -- Usually all the action is onstage at Ballet West productions, but not Friday night.
Watching the twirling dancers of "The Nutcracker" from a seat backstage, Kristine Littlefield sat in rapt attention as a special guest, even getting to see the famed nutcracker doll before any of the children in the show. She hopes to be doing what they are someday.
Kristine dances now, using a prothestic leg, and is looking forward to toe shoes in about three years when she's 12. Ballet West dancers saw our story last month and invited her to visit them. Her mother says Kristine is making plans.
Mother: "She's talking about seeing if she can come next year and audition. She's really excited."
Kristine, her mother says, doesn't ever say 'I can't do that', rather, 'I'll find another way'....
