(KSL News) As the baby boom generation ages, many are experiencing vision loss. But there are ways people with fading eyesight can keep on living active lives.

Curtis Daniels suffers with Glaucoma. At his specially designed apartment in Dallas he is learning to overcome daily challenges.

People with Fading Eyesight Find Ways to Remain Independent

One gadget actually reads clothing color. Another tells him when to stop pouring. Some of the ideas in the apartment are very simple and affordable, such as color contrast. Dark handles stand out on light wood, as do white dishes on a black background.
