(KSL News) -- A judge ordered "Baby Tamia's" adoptive parents to serve 18 months probation.

Steven Kusaba and Lenna Habbeshaw pleaded guilty to drug possession charges.

As part of their sentencing, the couple must complete a substance abuse program.

Kusaba and Habbeshaw were involved in an interstate custody battle over Tamia earlier this year. The couple tried to adopt the six- month old baby, but an Illinois judge overturned the adoption, because of unrelated charges.

Authorities removed the child from the Utah couple's home, and returned to her biological mother.
