(KSL News) We've learned the name of the man killed yesterday when a semi truck crashed with an Amtrak train near Cisco.

The driver of the truck was 26-year-old David Miller, from Colorado.

Authorities this morning are investigating the violent crash. At the railroad crossing, there are railroad warning signs, but there are no flashing lights and no crossing arms.

The train collided with the truck, killing the driver instantly. The train engineers hit the brakes, but it still took about a half mile for the train to come to a stop.

A few passengers on the train had minor injuries.
