UTAH COUNTY -- The Utah Department of Transportation has canceled plans to close several lanes of Interstate 15 in Utah County Tuesday due to weather.
UDOT had planned to close three northbound lanes of I-15 from Lehi to American Fork so crews could repair potholes.
Now UDOT says crews will work Tuesday and Wednesday nights to make repairs and if necessary reschedule daytime work when weather allows.
The repairs are part of the I-15 CORE project. UDOT says multiple potholes caused by fluctuating temperatures, heavy precipitation and sections of deteriorating asphalt need resurfacing.
