WEST JORDAN -- A West Jordan family lost their home to fire Saturday morning.
The fire broke out around 7:30 a.m. at the home near 1300 West and 7200 South. Fire authorities say one of the homeowners noticed smoke coming from the basement.
He got everyone out of the home and called 911.
By the time crews arrived, the home was engulfed in flames. A second alarm was called because of the weather and concern for firefighters' safety.
No one was hurt, but the home is a complete loss.
