SALT LAKE CITY -- Fire crews knocked down a garage fire that threatened to spread to a home in Salt Lake City.
Crews say the flames reached two stories high when they first arrived at the house near 1st Avenue and P Street. A car parked in front of the garage also was burning.
Firefighters went on the offensive and contained the flames before they reached the home.
Two people inside that home were taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation, but crews say they will be OK.
No word yet on the cause.
