SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Technical Council announced Monday the creation of the Adobe Omniture Business Unit Scholarship Program for new UTC membership. The fund pays most of the annual dues for 25 different technology companies to join UTC.

The Utah Technology Council is a trade association targeting the high-tech and life sciences sectors.

Qualifying technology companies must be less than three years old, have fewer than 10 employees with less than $1 million in annual revenue and not currently a UTC member. Applications will be accepted through Jan. 19, 2011.

Interested firms should complete an application at www.utahtechcouncil.org/scholarship.html. Selected companies will also be required to pay up to $100 toward membership, with the remaining amount covered by the scholarship fund.

Completed applications must be sent to Mark Lehnhof at mark@utahtech.org.
