SALT LAKE CITY -- The burn unit at the University of Utah Medical Center was decorated for the holidays Saturday in hopes of making the season a bit brighter for patients there.

The Gold Wing Motorcycle Riders Association donated Christmas trees for all 12 rooms in the unit. Not only did they help decorate, they also brought many gifts. The "12 Days of Christmas" will be the theme -- patients will be given a gift on each of the 12 days leading up to Christmas.

The Gold Wing Riders have made donations like this in the past. Last summer, they delivered 200 teddy bears for children who are being treated there.

Nearly a third of the patients treated in the burn unit are from outside of Utah.
