SPRINGVILLE -- A Springville resident got her family out of the house after she arrived home to find the garage on fire.

The Springville Fire Department says the woman drove up around 6 p.m., saw flames coming out of the side of the garage, quickly told her family to get out of the house, and called 911.

When firefighters arrived at the home near 1300 East and Hobble Creek Drive, they found the garage engulfed in flames.

Firefighters doused the fire. No one was injured, but the family's cat perished in the fire.

There is no damage estimate yet and investigators have not determined what caused the fire.
