The McGraw-Hill Companies (MHP) announced that it has sold its Healthcare Information Group to specialist publisher Vendome Group, LLC. Terms were not disclosed.
The Healthcare Information Group comprises magazines The Physician and Sportsmedicine, Postgraduate Medicine and Healthcare Informatics, and a variety of healthcare information programs that serve the medical market.
Founded in 1888, The McGraw-Hill Companies is a global information services provider addressing needs in the financial services, education and business information markets.
The Vendome Group, LLC was founded in July 2004 and today has completed the acquisition of five information businesses that encompass growth markets ranging from commercial and residential real estate to healthcare facilities and practice, and sourcing of chemicals and bulk pharmaceuticals.
