SALT LAKE CITY -- This week's High 5 goes to the man who delights children this time of year -- Santa Claus.

He stopped by the KSL studio Friday morning. "We have a lot of management issues this year because Mrs. Santa Claus decided to take a vacation. She just got back to the North Pole," he said.

Santa said the elves are working 24/7 to make toys and get them packaged so children will receive them on Christmas morning. Kids in the KSL studio put in their requests for everything from Legos to a live puppy.

Santa also plans to visit University Mall in Provo around 9:30 a.m. He'll arrive in Chopper 5.

"The reindeer are used to flying at night. If you put them in the daylight they get excited and it's hard getting to where you want them to go. So we'll use the helicopter this morning," he said.
