SALT LAKE CITY -- Prosecutors have filed charges against a West Valley City man who they say killed his own father.
Police say William Chad Seager, 31, admitted that he got into argument with his father, 58-year-old William M. Seager, last month and pushed him down a flight of stairs, causing a head injury.
Several hours later, Seager left to go to Wendover. Police say he called 911 after he returned home and couldn't move his father's body the next morning.
Seager faces murder, robbery and obstruction of justice charges.
