OREM, Utah (AP) -- Transportation officials say overnight closures of U-S 189 in Provo Canyon for excavation work will continue through Friday.
The Utah Department of Transportation says the highway will be closed between ten p-m and six a-m. Drivers will need to use 1-15 and I-80 as alternate routes.
For more closure information go online at www.udot.utah.gov/provo-canyon. Also, information will be posted on electronic roadway signs located near Provo Canyon and on U-S 40, I-15 and I-80.

- Northbound I-15 will be restricted to two lanes from 800 North to 1600 North in Orem between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. today. Drivers should expect moderate to heavy delays.
