(KSL News) A holiday nightmare in Lindon has a bright side after all.

The Sunroc Plant went up in flames on Thanksgiving Day. It appeared engulfed, and the owners, feared they'd lose everything.

But it turns out, the damage wasn't as bad as it first looked. The fire was extinguished before it reached most of the company's equipment, and it didn't touch the office area-- so all records were preserved.

Officials say the roof-making plant should start operating in the next couple days. The owners say people have jumped in to help get things working again. Investigators still don't know what caused the fire.
