LONDON, Nov 26, 2005 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Nadja Swarovski, a member of the family that owns the world's dominant crystal company, was robbed of her jewelry by two burglars in her London home.

Swarovski, who is nine months pregnant, was alone in the apartment at the time of the break-in. Her husband and son were both out.

The Times of London, citing a source close to the heiress, said she showed the burglars the safe where she keeps valuables.

"I think she made the conscious decision to co-operate," the source said. "She did not want any harm to come to her or her unborn baby."

The burglars fled with an estimated 250,000 pounds ($430,000) worth of jewels.

Swarovski is vice president of the company founded by her great-grandfather more than a century ago in Austria. Swarovski crystals have appeared in movies from "The Wizard of Oz" to "Die Another Day" and been worn by stars from Marilyn Monroe to Madonna.
