(KSL News) An overheated elevator motor led to the evacuation of a downtown hotel tonight.
The hotel is located on 7 East and 400 South. Firefighters evacuated everyone.
After going through the building, it was determined the smoke was coming from the elevator motor, which is in the basement.
Crews ventilated the building to get rid of smoke. Four people were treated on the scene for smoke inhalation.
