SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Solitude Mountain Resort is opening for the 2010-2011 ski season.
The resort in Big Cottonwood Canyon opens with limited runs for the season Friday.
It is the second resort in Utah to open this season after Brighton opened on Thursday.
Snowbird, in neighboring Little Cottonwood Canyon, is scheduled to open on Saturday.
