(KSL News) A freelance television producer caught at the Salt Lake International Airport with child porn will appear in federal court today.
Security officers searched Kevin McMahan when they saw something that looked like a lighter in his bags.
The Deseret Morning News reports he was arrested with a total of 46 DVDs. They contained images of children under the age of 16, some as young as 8 months old.
A federal indictment states McMahan says he exchanges the porn, some of which is homemade, with a close circle of friends. If convicted he faces up to 10 years in prison.
