South Jordan police search for masked bank robber

SOUTH JORDAN - Police are trying to track down a man who robbed a bank in South Jordan Saturday.

According to Lt. Dan Starks with South Jordan police, the suspect entered the Zions Bank at 4753 W. Daybreak Parkway around 1:50 p.m. wearing a black hoodie and a black and white Spiderman mask. The man pulled out a gun and demanded money.

Starks says the suspect got away with the contents of a single cash drawer. As he was was leaving the scene, the man's mask came off his head momentarily, exposing his face. He then took off on a bicycle.

The suspect is described as being in his mid-twenties and about 5-feet-7-inches tall. Anyone with any information should call the South Jordan Police Department at 801-840-4000.
