FILLMORE, Utah (AP) -- The BLM is investigating the vandalism of a petroglyph panel in southwest Fillmore.

It is believed the vandalism occurred sometime between May 7 and May 29. About 35 gunshots damaged the panel.

The petroglyphs at the site date between several thousands of years old and the early 19th century. The site has been determined to be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.

The Bureau of Land Management is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the party responsible for the damages.
