CENTREVILLE, Va., Nov 15, 2005 (UPI via COMTEX) -- A woman believed to be the so-called cell phone bank bandit was arrested early Tuesday after her car was spotted in Centreville, Va.
Candice Martinez, 19, of Chantilly, Va., is suspected of being the person who pulled at least four Northern Virginia bank robberies while carrying on conversations on her cell phone.
The take at each bank was believed to be around $1,000 to $2,000, The Washington Post said.
