(KSL News) A Utah County Oxycontin thief is headed to prison.
Danny Hooley was sentenced to three terms of five years to life in connection with a string of pharmacy robberies in Lehi, American Fork and Orem.
Since the robberies, many pharmacies in the county have stopped carrying Oxycontin altogether.
Hooley's lawyers say his addiction drove his actions, but prosecutors say he needs to take responsibility for his crimes.
