WEST WENDOVER, Nev. (AP) -- A Utah couple has been arrested for allegedly trying to cash a series of fraudulent checks at a casino in West Wendover.

Police Sgt. David Wiskerchen says a casino employee called police when 36-year-old Albert Moye of West Jordan tried to cash a check that had been flagged in the casino computer system early Tuesday.

Police later found the check in the possession of his 26-year-old girlfriend Samantha Eriksson, also of West Jordan.

A search of their hotel room turned up credit cards and checks with a number of different names as well as a computer set up to print fake checks.

Both face charges of possession of falsely obtained documents, obstruction and uttering a forged instrument. Moye also was charged with possession of methamphetamine.
